Synopsis
Sookie Stackhouse just can't seem to stay away from the supernatural denizens of Bon Temps, Louisiana. Wow, just wow! Dead as a Doornail had lots of action, lots of mystery and more than a few surprises. There was a lot of interesting shape-shifter focus in this novel and I am finding myself quite intrigued by the growing fairy storyline. Sookie is getting close with a couple of different men and I'm really wondering who she'll chose and where it'll go. My interest in Alcide is completely over after reading this but I am very glad that Eric is back to being Eric. Dead as a Doornail answered a lot of questions but presented even more new questions to wonder about. This was one highly entertaining Southern Vampire novel.

ReplyDeleteThe fairy storyline only gets better! :) I remember feeling the same way about Sookie's various suitors. There are many directions she can go in, throughout this book.
