Synopsis
Michael Crichton's new novel opens on the threshold of the 21st century. It is a world of exploding advances on the frontiers of technology. Information moves instantly between two points, without wires or networks. Computers are built from single molecules. Any moment of the past can be actualized—and a group of historians can enter, literally, life in 14th century feudal France.
Imagine the risks of such a journey.
Review
I really enjoyed the time travel aspects of this book. I did not enjoy the medieval time period that was traveled to. I am looking forward to renting the movie of this book from Netflix though because I always appreciate medieval settings better on film than on paper. It's take on the multiverse was advanced for when the book was published.

I haven't read the book so I can't speak to that, but the movie is wonderful and well worth Netflixing!
