Spotlight Series: Women of the Otherworld

Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers’ dismay. Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.

I "discovered" the Women of the Otherworld series years ago and immediately loved the way each book was narrated by a different woman. It gives the series the unique ability to really get into the different situations each species of paranormal faces.

Important Characters to Know
Elena Michaels - Werewolf. Only known female werewolf.

Paige Winterbourne - Witch. Leader of the American Coven. Private investigator and web designer.

Savannah Levine - Powerful witch. A witch/sorcerer hybrid. Daughter of Eve Levine. Being raised by Paige Winterbourne.

Jaime Vegas - Necromancer. TV spiritualist.

Eve Levine - Half-demon. Witch. Angel. Mother of Savannah.

Hope Adams - Half-demon. Craves chaos.
