Review
The Women's Murder Club is back and looking into their second case together. When someone is killing seemingly random people, the police naturally assume the crimes are racially motivated. A surprising link between the victims puts everyone, including the police, even more on edge.

While each of the women look into the case in their own way, they also deal with a personal life crisis or two. Lindsay's absentee father has come back looking for a second chance to be her dad, Jill's pregnant, and Cindy's too attracted to a man she needs to have a professional relationship with.

James Patterson easily shifts between murder and normal life, making them equally compelling. The story is extremely fast paced between Patterson's penchant for super short chapters and his ability to work a plot twist like nobody's business. 2nd Chance is just as good 1st to Die and promises even more thrilling cases in the future.
