There are so many fantastic authors out there that deserve more recognition that I could have easily listed at least 25 without even having to think about it. Below are the 10 that really stand out to me as authors who are extremely talented. People need to run out and pick up their books immediately.

Cool topic -- and I suppose you're right, because I'm not familiar with any of these authors! But now that I see your book picks, I may have to check some of these out. Now that you've got me thinking about it, I may have to come up with my own list of authors who deserve to be better known!
