The Good: It has to get better. It has to get better. I just keep telling myself, the next book has to get better. There is always a chance the series could get back on track in the next book.
The Bad: These books are supposed to be light and fun, but it's gotten to the point where it's almost constant repetition. There is no fun here. The humor has dried up. Betsey is no longer charmingly inept, but rather obnoxiously incompetent and ridiculously lucky. Laura has become even more annoying that Betsey. I have absolutely loved this series for years and it pains me to say it, but wow, this book is beyond awful. Put me to sleep. An complete chore to read.
